Please help us find a home for this dog. The following is from a friend of mine:

So I found this dog on the side of the road yesterday, in NC.  He is a pit bull mix, supposedly born March 22, 2009, and was microchipped May 25, 2009.  He is a neutered male, has shown zero signs of aggression so far, even when my Dane has pinned him, etc.  I’ve had him around horses, dogs, and cats, and he’s been a solid citizen and totally submissive with all of them.  He is unbelievably sweet and very well-behaved.  Totally housebroken, jumps right into the Mini (and rode with the Great Dane, so they are pretty much right on top of each other).  He knows sit, stay, come, etc.  Very calm, very friendly to everyone.  I’ve dragged him all over the place in 24 hours, including to a party, and he’s coped with all of it.  So, the story is that he supposedly went missing in Florida 4 months ago.  I found the owner via microchip, but she is saying that she can’t afford to come get him, and I have some concerns about her providing a good home.  I have a rescue person checking it out, and if she seems legit, I just need to find him a ride to Florida, but I’m looking for a home for him in case the owner continues to seem sketchy.  So, please pass him along, I’m very afraid that if I don’t find a home for him quickly, I’m going to get too attached!

Breaking Upwards

Directed by Daryl Wein (89 min, USA, 2009)

Breaking Upwards explores a young, real-life New York couple who decide to intricately strategize their own break up. Based on an actual experiment devised by director/actor Daryl Wein and actress Zoe Lister-Jones, the film loosely interprets a year in their lives as they explore alternatives to monogamy and the madness that ensues. An uncensored look at young love, lust, and the pangs of co-dependency, Breaking Upwards follows its characters as they navigate each others’ emotions across the city they love.
