HOW TO HANDLE A HUSBAND

A couple was celebrating their golden wedding anniversary on the
beaches
in Montego Bay, Jamaica .

Their domestic tranquility had long been the talk of the town.
People would say, ‘What a peaceful & loving couple’

The local newspaper reporter was inquiring as to the secret of their
long and happy marriage.

TheHusband replied: ‘Well, it dates back to our honeymoon in
America ,’explained the man.

‘We visited the Grand Canyon,in Arizona , and took
a trip down to the bottom of the canyon, by horse.

We hadn’t gone too far when my wife’s horse stumbled
and she almost fell off.

My wife looked down at the horse and quietly said, ‘That’s once.’

We proceeded a little further and her horse stumbled again. Again my
wife quietly said, ‘That’s twice.’

We hadn’t gone a half-mile when the horse stumbled for the third time
my wife quietly removed a revolver from her purse and shot the horse
dead.

I SHOUTED at her, ‘What’s wrong with you, Woman! Why did you shoot the
poor animal like that, are you *%&#@$ crazy!?’

She looked at ME, and quietly said, ‘That’s once.’
And from that moment….. we have lived happily every after.’

Luckyrice Festival

Asian eats may not need any PR in this city, but we’re not complaining about the lineup for the first Luckyrice Festival. The celebration of Pan-Asian cuisine kicks off on Thu 29 with a cocktail bash at the Bowery Hotel (8–11pm, $50), where top barkeeps (from Bar Pleiades, PDT) will mix Eastern-tinged drinks. Fri 30 brings the sold-out Night Market (6:30–10:30pm), a street-food fete hosted by Momofuku’s David Chang (tip: you can still get in with a $400 VIP Festival Passport). And on Sat 1, the Mandarin Oriental hosts a tasting event (7–10pm, $150) featuring the likes of Jean Georges and Tabla. Plus, find special menus at Shang, Zengo and more during Luckyrice Restaurant Week (May 3–9). Enter the code TONY for 10% off tickets at luckyrice.com.
