It feels like just yesterday that we were watching a young Christian Siriano spread his wings on Project Runway, and now the experienced designer is throwing his first-ever sample sale along with Lyn Devon and Karolina Zmarlak. Siriano’s goods include leather shorts for $125 (as opposed to $900) and metallic tweed shift dresses, nicked from $1,600 to $275. Equally hip Lyn Devon printed shorts are $100 (were $595), and bright dresses are lowered from $1,895 to $275. Karolina Zmarlak reversible pencil skirts are $185 (instead of $320), and slim pants are dropped from $375 to $210.

Surf-and-turf lovers can throw moderation to the wind at this all-you-can-eat food party, cohosted by Dickson’s Farmstand Meats and the Lobster Place. Pile your plate high with shrimp, crawfish, oysters and lobster, plus meaty options including beef tartare, pulled pork, and roasted beef, pork and lamb. Wash down the grub with complimentary Sam Adams brews, and Buffalo Trace whiskey cocktails made by the Tippler (a forthcoming bar in Chelsea Market). Then dance off the binge to live honky-tonk tunes from the Dixons. Proceeds support Food Systems NYC, which promotes universal access to nourishing, affordable food.
