If you’re over Christmas and Hanukkah, celebrate the Frank Costanza–inspired holiday, Festivus. Air your grievances (per the Festivus tradition) at the open bar from 9 to 10pm; afterward you can down $2 shots, $4 beers and $5 mixed drinks while jamming to live bands. Bavarian brew house Zum Schneider hosts this Christmas sing-along, led by owner Sylvester Schneider. TUE 22 CHAMPAGNE MASTER CLASS
Find the perfect holiday tipple at this dinner and guided champagne tasting. Sommelier Jean Luc Le Dû has selected seven bottles to represent the spectrum of French champagne, from vintage Cristal to examples made from pinot noir grapes. THU 24 MATZO BALL
Those gearing up for a solo Jewish Christmas (see “Chinese Food and a Movie”) will appreciate this mixer, sponsored by JDate.com. Single twentysomething MOTS are the desired demographic, but couples and non-Jews are welcome to mingle over $12 martinis and $7 pints.
